Less waste, fresher expression - same organic quality!

We're constantly working to make our packaging even better – both for you, the tea drinker, and for the environment. Now comes a change: new, lighter and fresher tea bags, developed with the same care that we put into our tea.

And best of all? We've reduced the packaging weight by 18.18% – that's almost 20% less material per package . That means less waste, a lower carbon footprint and more efficient transport. You as a customer may not notice the weight, but the environment knows the difference.

In November 2025 and for some time to come, there will be a mix of new and old packaging in circulation.

What's new

As an organic tea producer, we want to take responsibility for the entire journey – from soil to cup. This means we also think through what the tea is packaged in, and how it affects both the environment and the experience for you as a customer.

Our new bags are therefore thinner and lighter , but still robust. Better for shipping , because less weight = lower emissions. More modern in expression , with an updated graphic design.

The visuals are no coincidence: Each bag matches the color of the tea inside. At least that's the idea! Green tea has a green packaging, chai has warmer brown tones, fruit teas get a fresher look – just like the color and character of the tea itself.

Organic content - unchanged and unwavering

Even though the packaging is new, the content is exactly the same. It is still 100% organically grown tea . The same taste as before

It is important to us that changes to the packaging never come at the expense of the quality inside. The packaging's job is to protect the tea. Especially against odors and moisture. That is why there are still some limitations for us in choosing packaging. We cannot use pure mono-materials such as paper, even if it were the best recyclable material, because the tea would deteriorate. We try to find a middle ground, which is good for the environment, but is also good for the tea.

We continue to improve

Our packaging development doesn't stop there. While a reduction of 18.18% already provides a significant environmental benefit, we're always looking for new ways to make our packaging even more sustainable – without compromising the taste experience you get in your cup.

This is another step in the right direction, and we look forward to hearing what you think of the new bags.
